Pitkäjärvi

The lake in front of the window. The sports park behind the sauna.

Löylykontti Laaksolahti stands on the shore of Pitkäjärvi, between the beach and the sports park. The shortest route from the sauna to the lake, via the beach, is about 20 metres. The official winter swimming spot with ladders is about a 60-metre walk away.

You can come straight from a run, the side of the pitch or simply for the sauna. The programme does not need to go any further: hot sauna, cold lake, then a while on the bench.

Before the sauna

Ice hockey, football and athletics fields, along with outdoor routes, are next door. The moving part of the day can end at the sauna door.

In the lake

The official winter swimming spot with ladders is about a 60-metre walk from the sauna. In summer the shortest route from the sauna to the lake, via the beach, is about 20 metres.
